What is Leeds & Grenville Approved Professional?

An LG Approved Logo is a sign of quality, integrity and consistency in local professionals who offer services to the public. They are looking to connect you to “Approved” professionals, contractors, builders, designers, real estate, health care, Beauty Salons and other service providers within Leeds and Grenville County. They aim to ensure The approved members have all the proper certifications, insurances and / or educational training to provide the services they offer. Our members are required to follow a code of conduct, which will ensure you get the highest level of service. They do have a review board too, so why not give the Flair FX team a great review along with your great experience!?

NATASHA ANNABLE

Owner, Senior Licensed Hairstylist

Natasha is Happily Married with 5 children. Nat has taken Cosmetology at L.C.V.I High School Grade 9. She knew then she has a passion for Hair!
She Graduated Hair Styling at Marvel Beauty School (Kingston Campus) with a high 90’s average in theory and practical May 1999. Nat hoped one day she could open her own salon.

Nat has taken some color and cutting and hair tattoo classes as well lash lift and tint over the years and plans on updating and adding to her repertoire. nat also plans on attending hair shows whenever possible so she can let her creativity keep flowing.

Nat’s favorite thing to do is an up do. She has done over 500 wedding party’s along her journey, either at the salon or travelling to it.

Nat has worked for a few salons in her journey. Her first job after beauty school was an assistant at a small shop. It was there that she learned a few massage techniques from the owner (the owner happened to be a massage therapist before she was a hair stylist). Nat worked in a salon in Toronto for a about 5 years where she learned how to do a proper “high n’ tight” . Natasha moved to Brockville in 2003 to be with her family. She struggled in a few different salons one in a local U.S department store and another at a hi-end salon down town, and last was a small salon on central where she decided the next move will be finally opening FLAIR FX Salon Spa, her own salon where she can plant her feet and grow. Nat welcomes past present and future clients to FLAIR FX Salon Spa

Fun Fact: When I was growing up I wanted to Marry a prince, have 20 kids and live in a castle!

LEIGH TURCOTTE

Licensed Hairstylist

Leigh is Happily Married with 2 Fur Babies. She graduated from Art and Technique Accedamy of Hair styling and aesthetics in 2002 in Belleville.
Leigh completed her apprenticeship at a Salon in Belleville, before moving to Brockville in 2012, Leigh spent a couple years at a salon in Trenton as a Stylist before getting promoted to manager. later then, she was given the opportunity to own it! Being so close to Canadian Forces Base Trenton she was able to master military haircuts.

“One Friday a very nice Lady came into a salon in Brockville where i was working, she told me that a friend of hers had just opened a fresh new salon downtown and she was looking to hire. I showed up on that Tuesday morning with my resume in hand as I opened up the door, it felt like this could be a new beginning and my new home”. When Leigh first started with us in 2014, she was a quiet and reserved person. Now 7 years later she has really grown into this beautifully talented person not only in hairstyling but as a musician as well!

Leigh welcomes all clients present and future to her new home where she can let her creativity flow.

Fun Fact: she is a talented “dancing queen” but when she blows her nose, it sounds like an elephant!!

NATALIE KENNEDY

Licensed Hairstylist

Natalie was born and raised here in Brockville. Natalie graduated from the hair styling program at St.Lawrence College Brockville, with mid 90’s in theory and practical August 2016
Natalie is a licensed hairstylist with a several years experience at Flair FX Salon Spa. For the past 5 years with us, Natalie has perfected her craft and has become extremely talented, especially in moving children’s haircuts and Men’s tapered clipper cuts, as well as women’s designer colors like Balayage and Ombre. Natalie is welcoming all past, present and future clients, and would love it if you gave her a shot!.
“I am looking forward to being a part of the Flair FX Salon Spa Family for years to come” and we are happy to have her.

Fun Fact: Kids adore Natalie and she adores them too, so much so she named her cat after one.

HEATHER BURTON

Hairstylist / Nail Tech

Heather Graduated at career school of hairdressing in St. Catherine's and Barber Apprenticeship in St. Catherine's and certified from George brown college 1980
Heather has been extremely fortunate to have a career that she havs always been passionate about. Heather has owned her own business, worked in private salons, as well as corporate stores. One thing that she firmly believes in is, when you love what you do, it rarely seems like work. Heather loves meeting people, hearing their stories, and helping folks to be comfortable in their hairstyles, as well as facial waxing, relaxing pedicures, and wellness manicures.
“I’m thrilled to be part of an amazing team at FLAIR FX Salon Spa, and really look forward to receiving past and future clients at this location”. and we are happy to have her.

TRESEA CERQUEIRA

Medical Aesthetician

Tresea graduated the medical esthetics Course at Westend Academy in Ottawa
Tresea welcomes clients to Flair FX Salon Spa of all ages in Eyelash lift and tint, Manicures, Pedicures, Waxing, and Massages for now.

Fun Fact: She was a PSW for 20 years and a Hairstylist before learning aesthetics!

ERIN WHITMORE

Receptionist / Sanitization Specialist

Erin Is our Receptionist as well as our Sanitization Specialist. She is one of the reasons why our salon runs so smoothly
she is amazing, we all love having her around. She is one of the reasons why our salon runs so smoothly. We can’t imagine a time that we didn’t have her and never want too. Silver lining to COVID-19, It created a position in our salon, for her to fill.

Fun Fact: We call her Swoon because she is fabulous like that !

Flair FX hair studio and Natalie is welcoming all present and future clients, she is looking to build her clientele and would love it if you gave her a shot! Natalie has experience in Men’s and children’s cuts and would love to broaden her skills. “I am looking forward to being a part of the Flair FX Family for years to come” and we are happy to have her.

Fun Fact: we call Natalie Garcia because shes awesome like that!!

SARAH BUELL
Aesthetician

Sarah has taken aesthetics at St.Lawrence. She is artistic and loves doing nail designs. She welcomes clients to Flair FX of all ages in Manicures, Pedicures, Waxing, and Massages for now.
